Portstewart,
which was originally a small fishing village, has
now become the jewel of the Causeway Coast. The University
of Ulster has made it by far the most popular town of the three
in the Triangle.
Portstewart
sits on the northerly tip of Ireland. It has
everything required for a fantastic family holiday. It
has wonderful beaches, scenic coastal walks, a
rocky shoreline along its Promenade, three golf
courses, tennis courts, a beautiful harbour and a
number of attractive coastal towns
and villages as its neighbours. These include Portrush,
Castlerock, Portballintrae and Ballycastle.
The
area boasts a wide selection of cafes,
restaurants and friendly bars. Entertainment for
young people is catered for more than anywhere
else in Ireland.
Fun
centres include Barry’s Amusements, the Dunluce
Centre, Waterworld, Sportsland, Fantasy Island, The
Playhouse and the Jet Centre.
